Tenerife has one of the most underrated nightlife scenes in Europe. Most people think of sangria and sunburn, but the south of the island — Playa de las Américas, Costa Adeje and Los Cristianos — is home to a cluster of world-class clubs that run serious events from May through October. Here's what's actually worth your night.

Papagayo Beach Club

Papagayo is the benchmark — the only club in the Canary Islands to appear in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs (ranked #76 in 2026). It sits right on Troya Beach and runs a full day-to-night concept: Mediterranean food and cocktails at sunset on the terrace, then a proper club night across two floors, five bars and a central dancefloor with a serious sound system.
