The White Party at Monkey Beach: What to Expect

The White Party at Monkey Beach Club is one of those events that everyone who's been to Tenerife in the summer seems to have a story about. Running every Wednesday through the season, it has become a fixture of the island's nightlife — the kind of night you plan your week around.

The Venue

Monkey Beach Club sits right on Playa de Troya in Costa Adeje and has been hosting beach parties since 2007. The setup is substantial — multiple bars, a restaurant, a rooftop pool area and a large outdoor stage. The main dancefloor is open-air, which makes a warm Wednesday night on the Atlantic coast feel genuinely special.

The Dress Code

All white. This is enforced, so come prepared. White everything — top, bottoms, shoes if possible. The crowd commits to it, and by midnight the dancefloor is a sea of white against the stage lights. It's one of the things that makes the night feel like an event rather than just a club night.

The Music

The programming leans into deep house and commercial dance — music that works outdoors at a beach club. The stage has hosted big international names including Eric Morillo, Roger Sanchez and Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano. Even on weeks without a major headline act, the resident DJs know how to read a crowd and build through the night.

Getting Tickets

Book in advance. The White Party has a reputation for selling out — not sometimes, but regularly. Booking ahead also saves you money versus the door price. Doors open around 9pm; the dancefloor comes alive closer to midnight and peaks between 1am and 4am.

Getting There

Monkey Beach is on Playa de Troya, a short taxi ride from anywhere in Playa de las Américas or Costa Adeje. Taxis are cheap and plentiful — €5–10 from most areas. On White Party nights the return trip is easy to arrange from the venue.
